Hey Mr. Facts is an independent, faceless account that turns official U.S. data into charts anyone can read in five seconds and check in five minutes.
We cover spending and debt, the economy and cost of living, housing, jobs and the workforce, public safety, education, energy, health and how the U.S. compares with other countries. We don't speak for any party or candidate, and we don't take sides. The numbers do the talking, and the sources are always one click away.
Disagree? Bring a dataset. If you have better official data, we want to see it.
Corrections policy
When we're wrong, we say so.
- Every post is checked against its official source before publishing, and each one has a receipts page.
- If you find an error, send it with a link to the source. We review every report.
- Confirmed errors are corrected on the receipts page with the date and what changed. Material errors also get a public correction on the platform where the post ran.
- When an agency revises its data, we note the revision rather than quietly changing the chart.
- Corrections are never deleted or hidden.
