Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Hey Mr. Facts wants heymrfacts.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Before publishing, every page is tested with automated tools (axe-core) at desktop and mobile sizes, and checked by hand for keyboard access, focus visibility, color contrast, zoom to 200% and 400% (reflow), and screen-reader structure.
What we have done
- A "Skip to main content" link and clear page landmarks and headings.
- Text alternatives for every chart and image; charts link to receipts with the underlying numbers in text.
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text (most text exceeds 7:1).
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and touch targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- Layouts that reflow at 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting. The Site has no autoplaying media or animations.
Known limitations
- Chart images are pictures of data. Each has a text description, and each receipt links directly to its official source data. If you need the data in another format, ask us.
- Videos on our social accounts are hosted by those platforms; we add captions where the platform supports them.
Report a barrier
If anything on this Site is hard to use, please tell us. Email hello@heymrfacts.com or message us on X. Include the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to provide the information in another format in the meantime.
